My Journey to Resilience Coaching and Stress Management

At one of my former employer, a large international corporation, I served as the Wellbeing Pillar Leader within the Employee Engagement Program and worked as an internal Resilience Coach. My journey into coaching began during my business psychology master’s studies, where I had the opportunity to explore the field through an elective module. This experience sparked a deep passion for stress and resilience, leading me to pursue certification as a stress coach, which I successfully completed by the end of 2020.
Driven by this passion, I continued my education with the Resilience Academy under Sebastian Mauritz, becoming a certified resilience trainer. I’ve had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and experience—gained through academic studies, professional training, and personal practice—through guest lectures for ICT students at ZHAW, now for the third time.

A personal story that illustrates how I apply these principles in everyday life:
In spring 2022, I completed my master’s degree in business psychology by defending my thesis on Self-Efficacy in Relation to Healthy Stress Coping. I was proud to receive a “very good” (A) grade—not because I aimed for perfection, but because I focused on doing my best without overwhelming pressure. Trusting in my abilities led to a smooth, low-stress writing process and an outcome that exceeded my expectations. In essence, I became a living example of my thesis: high self-efficacy has a positive impact on healthy stress coping.

Today, I work as an HR Business Partner for a large fashion retail company, where I am in daily contact with people and actively support them — something I deeply enjoy. Alongside my professional role, I continue to offer mental health advice within my private environment, staying true to my commitment to personal development and well-being.

Supporting others in managing stress healthily and growing into their potential brings me great joy.

So, are you ready to light up & grow?
